  2. oh and handpicked cranberries also. truly ripe with a crimson color, what they are supposed to be like.
  3. black trumpets, chanterelle, and watercress available at u.district tommorow. truffles still nonexistent.

  5. Special wild food dinner at Corson Building next week, Nov 16. Christina and Matt are teaming up...I might make a special appearance too.
  6. my best lateseason patch went under the knife or saw i should say! oh well back to scouting, gates are finally open for elk season.
  7. scouted lots of new ground and took advantage of junelike weather. another warm fall has brought november watercress once again.
  8. get to the markets early this weekend, as we have very limited amounts of everything. tommorow hedgehogs and chanterelle only.
  9. watercress is back, limited amounts at u.district market saturday. also picked my first black trumpets of the year.
  10. slow slow slow slow. warm dry wet cold. put the shrooms to rest its all downhill from here.
  11. Going to check late matsutake patch. It does not fruit every year but when it does, oh boy.
  12. Heading home with more porcini for sunday ballard and west seattle markets
  13. ohh what a day at u.district. over ten types of choice edible mushrooms and yes huckleberries still. matsutake and porcini plentiful.
  14. matsutake coming on strong now, worm free. thanks cold weather. porcini also looking like they are really going to pop this week.

  16. for all who thought i have a great job. here is my day,broke balljoint,walked 7 miles,waited 2 hrs. for towtruck,towtruck cracked oilpan.
  17. late september mushroom wasteland. all is drying up right when everything should be peaking. though huckleberries still holding on!
  18. lots of porcini, chanterelle, white chanterelle, lobsters, and huckleberries at w.seattle and ballard markets today
  19. lots of goods at queen anne and bellevue farmers market today,both 3 to7. yellow and white chanterelle, lobster, porcini, and huckleberries
  20. chanties drying up again, buttons really slowing down. coastal porcini starting up, should have some for all markets this week.
