  1. Chamakh - Big question for Arsenal fans is whether Bordeaux feel it's better to take the reported £7m or keep him for the campaign.
  2. Incidentally, "Kaká" comes from Digão being unable to pronounce "Ricardo" as child. He can put that on his CV if it's too empty.
  3. Kaká's younger brother Digão has joined Lecce on loan from AC Milan. I've watched him train, he's good, but timid. Needs experience.
  4. Formerly good one-footed left-winger Jerome "Johnny" Rothen agrees terms with Rangers after a blah spell with PSG.
  5. Boro flop Afonso Alves joins Al-Saad of Qatar. Meh.
  6. Arsenal - Don't rule out Matuidi. St. Etienne have signed mids Gelson Fernandes & Augusto Fernandez. They're also talking to Camel Meriem.
  7. Stoke add even more steel with Diego Arismendi, a 6'2" central mid. He's Uruguayan (a country actively produces dirty footballers).
  8. Celtic's Massimo Donati has been offloaded to Bari. Had enough time to stir up the Eduardo storm and score a good goal before though!
  9. West Ham not with many options now, Gudjohnsen has signed for Monaco. Chamakh? Toni? They'll need someone after selling Nsereko.
  10. Fabio Grosso signs to add to what is looking like a quite formidable Juventus side. Serie A is a two-horse race.
  11. Monaco sign the very talented Mathieu Coutadeur, a one-time Wenger target. He'll spend a year or two there before going to a bigger side.
  12. Wolves have made a good buy in the Austrian striker Stefan Maierhofer. At 6'7½", he is a bit taller, but much more imposing than Crouch.
  13. Fulham really disappointing. Roy Hodgson - good man, good manager. Expecting his side to further their progress but UEFA Cup might distract.
  14. @aimanzubir Especially in a week like this, they needed to come away with the result. Wenger's sending off was a farce though.
  15. Thoughts on yesterday - Arsenal played well, not well enough. Man Utd played uninspiringly, rode their luck, and took their chances.
  16. Sorry for the lack of tweet all, been distracted by that annoying business called "real life". Back now though!
  17. Re: Rafa quitting, wouldn't really be surprised if this is just his yearly tactic of using sulky threats to try and get more money.
  18. Reports of Benitez quitting are solely based on betting circumstances, although - no smoke without fire and all that.
  19. Sad, sad news. Sir Bobby Robson has passed away. A true football man, and lovely character who will be missed by many. RIP.
  20. People saying Chamakh is done deal. Delay is because Arsenal are trying to get their other targets first, as cheap as possible.
