  3. Movers are here and loading the furniture, better than 3/4 complete.
  4. Movers hired for Sunday, books and office packed, kitchen and glassware packing is underway.
  5. Mentally preparing for a day of packing boxes, with a bit of bread and cheese making added in for variety. Move: -7d
  6. Returned home from SIVB Wednesday night and almost in sync with w/the week again. Charleston's worth visiting again, but in cooler weather

  8. Now in Charleston, SC for Society for In Vitro Biology (SIVB) meeting
  9. Success on all fronts. 2 loaves of bread, a batch of mozzarella and at least 1 box of books packed for the upcoming move.
  10. Home from work, time to make a couple loaves of bread and maybe some mozzarella cheese, and packing more books, time and energy permitting.

  17. @GISBREWMASTER No plans for the mozzarella yet. It may succumb to snacking and not survive till dinner time tomorrow.
  18. @daniinnc It's not difficult at all and takes less than an hour. 1 gallon of milk produces upwards of 1# of cheese.
  19. First batch of homemade cheese a success. Now have 3/4 lb. of mozzarella in the refrigerator awaiting tomorrow's use, if it lasts that long.
  20. Blue Jay nesting update- Nest is completed and I we have at least 3 eggs as of yesterday. Jays are also getting very protective.
