  1. @thomasjo Yeah - find my self applying things we learned allot in C# 3.0 with support for lambdas. Gets rid of tons of foreaches :P
  2. Or this 3D tunnel effect ( http://bit.ly/32M7W) or a fully working game ( http://bit.ly/592su
  3. @neslekkim But did you se the demos run?! http://bit.ly/Md5Pi <- written as a tweet! (#tweetcode)
  4. @thomasjo Agreed. And like you hinted to: functional programing techniques can make that easier to do. My favorite course at uni :)
  5. Or the amazing #tweetcoding contest (amazing Flash/Actionscript demos in 140 characters) http://bit.ly/Hj6dz
  6. Check out http://stackoverflow.com/qu... for more coding golf ;) (how short can you make it)
  7. @thomasjo ... or devs beeing to lazy to give their methods/variables proper names and go with short generic names instead.
  8. @thomasjo I think it's a bigger problem with devs. getting stuck playing "Code Golf" (http://bit.ly/11mg69)...
  9. @thomasjo I'm not sure thats a prob. We read way more code than we write. And intellisense takes away the pain of typing it out...
  10. @thomasjo Agree on the less is more. But some times I think it's better to make things a little longer and more readable
  11. @thomasjo Clean code should read in a language close to the problem domain. If you're doing math - sure. But for data flow and business r ...
  12. @Java_Jack Will keep you posted/show list of components before I hit order ;) Thanks for input.
  13. @Java_Jack Sweet - thanks. I'll do some research over the summer. I'll go for AMD. But need to be sure I can get HDMI audio to the 606.
  14. @Java_Jack Yeah, would be interested in link. Lots of people have had problems with audio over HDMI from ATI gx to Onkyo 606 receiver...
  15. @tormodfj Wont give you TrueHD and DTS HD (bitstream on PS3). But it really does not matter as the PCM is lossless anyway.
  16. @tormodfj Only "draw back" is that you don't get bitstream from PS3 - but apperantly it doesn't matter. The PCM stream is lossless anyway.
  17. @SparklingClient Yeah - but there really isn't much they can do to make it better. Silverlight is client, search engine is server side...
  18. @SparklingClient Nope - but with easy support for deep linking the HTML Rendering can easily be done by ASP:NET or other server side web fx.
  19. @SparklingClient Yeah - URL addressable content (Navigation Framework) with alternative HTML rendering behind Silverlight to provide SEO.
  20. @borresen Not sure. Agree that media should be distributed media - but at the moment the options are limited (to say the least) in Norway.
