  1. About three this morning, I had my seasonal Martha-Stewart-Couldn't-Possibly-Pull-Off-My-To-Do-List-Spread-Too-Thin Anxiety Attack
  2. I may be going a little overboard with the whole snowflake thingy- I actually bought two Martha Stewart punches just to have more snowflakes
  3. Ready to put the zazz in the last two weeks of school for 2009
  4. Finished formatting & uploading student work to nat'l scholastic competition - they look awesome - now to celebrate finishing the task
  5. On the road listening to Alice's restaurant
  6. Think I've got 21 hours so far in this year's ink bookplate. I love to stipple - it's like drawing with tiny grains of black sand.
  7. Art Show Opening reception was wonderful. Especially loved seeing so many former art students and fellow artists. Hope for great sales!
  8. Excited about art gallery reception and opening of my show tonight - only wish the day had been smoother.
  9. Getting ready for snow storm - chili fix'ns, cookie dough, chips n dip, books, art supplies gathered
  10. Thrilled to see my new artwork in the gallery ready for the show. Given some prime display space.
  11. Very touching veteran's day assembly at school today - moved when each branch stands while band plays their anthem.
  12. Had to light a fire under my advanced students - hate lazy, hate indifference, hate seeing potential wasted. Talent is no talent unless used
  13. Got all my artworked framed and delivered to gallery for Nov 18th show. Always a great feeling - time to celebrate and dream of sales.
  14. Love getting ready for holidays but really glad when they are over. Personal deadline of 11/6 for finishing and framing my art show work
  15. Just finished two apple pies, carved six pumpkins and cleaned house...come on trick or treaters!
  16. Really disappointed in my students today. Let assignments slide, ignored sketchbooks and turned in lame work - tomorrow "the whip"
  17. So glad to be done with rehearsals and travels for awhile. Ready to do some home improvements and work on the easel.
  18. Just won 2nd @ state one-act play competition with The Laramie Project.
