  1. alshalloway RT @alshalloway @flinchbaugh When arguing about big ideas, better to define the argument Intention v execution very different
  2. @flinchbaugh Disagreement can be so much more enlightening. :) Tell me more?
  3. @alshalloway BTW How's the Aikido coming along?
  4. @alshalloway Oh gosh - now I sound like I'm bashing Kanban. Didn't mean to - great leap forward imo. Just more to come. Hence "waypoint".
  5. @alshalloway My point, in part. Kanban still a local (sw) optimisation imo. Way forward = systems thinking + scientific method + humanity
  6. @alshalloway Tend to regard Kanban as a waypoint on the road to Lean (and beyond), rather than a destination
  7. @DReinertsen Super illustration - but maybe lost on most sw folks (network programmers a rare breed). I can grok.
  8. @x2zero :p
  9. @flinchbaugh Hope my comment on your blog post sheds some light. Happy to explain further if required. :)
  10. @benjaminm Love that film. So prescient. (Me being a lifelong 2000AD fan also contributes - recall Halo Jones?). And love Natalie too :)
  11. @skirk I were wondering that misself
  12. RT @business901 Podcast Tues. Michael Balle Shingo Prize winner on his new book The #Lean Manager, did u no he was reformed #systemsthinker?
  13. RT @flinchbaugh Why I think lean thinkers make for great entrepreneurs, and now is the time. http://bit.ly/1PP3jb | Idealistic but relevant
  14. @alshalloway All truth is relative. And don't even get me started on solipsism!
  15. @duarte_vasco @david_harvey Who made the very valid observations that estimates are not commitments, but are regularly treated as such?
  16. @david_harvey Most times, it's waste (even though the folks doing it don't / can't accept that). But prioritisation needs? cost/benefit info
  17. RT @MeredithMBell "Never does a man portray his own character more vividly, than in his manner of portraying another.” - Jean Paul Richter
  18. @david_harvey Another estimating first principle: make damn sure you're not wasting your time estimating.
  19. @agilemanager Is that a trick question? ;)
  20. To be, or not to be: that is the question... http://bit.ly/hTyv 400+ years on, the full question remains as pertinent as it ever was.
