@ No, the ORM doesn't do any db generation, however it is flexible enough to work with almost any db schema.

@ I knew that S3 wasn't faster, but more scalable. However I've never gotten the traffic to justify it. Plus, I can now switch easily.

Last Friday all of the images, css and js for the Flourish site were moved from S3 to the primary web server—page loads should be faster now

@ I've never implemented an RBAC system, but you might be able to do it combining fAuthorization ACLs with some of your own code

@ I would probably go with an copy for each. That way when you need to upgrade Flourish you can do one site at a time.

@ I work primarily on Windows using PHPEd for my editor. I prefer Linux, however PHPEd and Adobe apps keep me on Windows.
