  1. Wow, there have been almost 1000 downloads JUST of the jQuery plugin for flXHR. Awesome! :)
  2. Google Pagespeed 1.3 breaks sites using @SWFObject (incl. any flensed projects), so upgrade to the patch release: http://bit.ly/p1Hxn
  3. Tame the wild-west of flash cookies (esp cross-domain!) with a simple but secure approach via http://flCookie.flensed.com
  4. "flCookie": now you can set persistent cookies on any domain, and even access them across different/multiple browser instances
  5. New flensed project coming soon. Ready to tame your cookies? :) Stay tuned.
  6. flensed/flXHR is enjoying a 3x traffic trend week over week and month over month over last 3-12 months. Word must be getting around!
  7. flXHR is nearing 1000 production downloads, with 110+ just in the last 2 weeks since v1.0.4 released! And almost 900 dl's of flXHRproxy!
  8. The #jQuery.flXHRproxy plugin has a bug fix release today, v1.2.2: fixes problems with Opera and also more robust 'success' handler.
  9. Opera 10 rc1 is out, and flXHR passes all tests! In 9.6, some large response tests failed, so that's good improvement!
  10. SXSWi 2010 Voting is on! Votes needed! http://bit.ly/y9gG5 #flensed
  11. Excited that flXHR is now going to be part of Stophe/BOSH for cross-domain XMPP support!
  12. flXHR v1.0.4 released, fixes a few minor bugs, and reduces size by 0.6k (5% savings)!
  13. Interesting and useful article about various cross-domain ajax options, incl. flXHR! http://tinyurl.com/n9jydk (via @danja)
  14. @danja glad you got it working... be careful to check cross-browser on that, dynamic form/submits can be tricky/buggy in my exp.
  15. @danja typically i would def agree, GET for reads, PUT for modify's. only other way (besides flXHR) to PUT x-domain is iframe form submit.
  16. @danja dataType=JSON and method=GET should activate jquery's cross-domain-safe ajax through dyn-script-tag.
  17. @danja of course you can use flXHR. :) but, since you're just firing a request, w/ no response, just set data-type to JSON.
  18. flensed/flXHR avgs 98 visits per day, up 283% from April 1st. Pretty cool for a humble OS project!
  19. If you've found flXHR or CheckPlayer helpful in a project, let us know about it! http://bit.ly/an2by
  20. flXHR is helping @SlateBox overcome the cross-domain Ajax barrier! http://bit.ly/w5JnE Why haven't you used flXHR yet? :)
