  1. Thanks Kristin and Janet for taking me on your vacation and allowing me to twitter the trip.
  2. I am sad to leave, but I am sure I will be back some day.
  3. We are on the plane to Chicago and are about to leave NYC :(
  4. I just took a tuk-tuk ride in NYC! To quote my friend Janet, "how fun is that?!"
  5. Now that is super cool!
  6. They are going to hang her photo on the wall with LOTS of other people wearing Mikli frames.
  7. I thought it was cool the employees knew her. One person liked her current glasses shape so much that they took her photo.
  8. What was strange today was that the people in the store knew Kristin when she walked in. She says she was last there two years ago.
  9. Kristin says she got her first pair in Hong Kong in 2003.
  10. Kristin says all of the glasses I have seen her in are Alain Mikli. I had no idea!
  11. Kristin says both pairs are special. limited editions. WOW, Kristin is sure lucky the pairs were at the store.
  12. The other pair is yellow with crystals. Funky and different from all of Kristin's other pairs.
  13. One pair is a cool pair of sunglasses that look like cat eyes.
  14. Kristin just bought TWO pairs of glasses at Alain Mikli.
  15. We are now at Macy's. I do not like to shop, but this is Kristin's vacation.
  16. I am in another cab now. I LOVE riding in the yellow cabs. This one has a TV screen. How cool is that?
  17. But she says it is nice to see building going on here. We can never forget, but we can't let bad people stop our lives. She is right!
  18. I know lots of people died that day. It makes me sad. Kristin says it is OK to be sad.
  19. Those are the buildings that fell on September 11, 2001.
  20. Kristin says this is the site of the former twin towers of the World Trade Center.
