  1. @MichaelHales What problem specifically are you seeing? Obviously if there's an issue we want to fix it ASAP.
  2. New privacy control: Now you can hide your location, purge all your data or *completely* delete your account: http://bit.ly/2VYTCP
  3. Apologies - a few registered Fire Eagle users got sent a suspension e-mail inappropriately today. We're fixing the problem.
  4. Twitter's using Yahoo WOE ids for their geocoding, making them compatible with Fire Eagle, Flickr, GeoPlanet etc. http://bit.ly/BdEmB
  5. @mjgardner Any of those apps could make it possible to get your location from Fire Eagle - but we can't force them to share with us!
  6. @mjgardner That's why we made Fire Eagle in the first place, to make them more interoperable!
  7. @gr33ndata Most likely they haven't upgraded their version of OAuth. We alerted people a couple of months ago, but not all have switched.
  8. Brightkite users - we think the lovely chaps over there have sorted out the problems we were having. Give it a try and let us know!
  9. There have been some problems with @brightkite updating Fire Eagle. We're talking to our colleagues over there and should have a fix soon.
  10. @webscouter Hm. That's really weird. We'll dig into that and let you know as soon as possible what's going on.
  11. @webscouter There shouldn't be an OAuth problem - Brightkite have upgraded. What problems are you experiencing?
  12. If you're trying to use an app that doesn't seem to be letting you auth, let them know that you'd like them to transition to the new OAuth.
  13. If you're having problems authing Fire Eagle for some applications, it's because we've turned off support for an insecure version of OAuth
  14. Clarke is a native Core Location Fire Eagle updater. Read Brady Forrest on O'Reilly Radar: http://bit.ly/2r9WCf
  15. BB on Fire, @fireeagle mobile updater, now supports GPS and/or Cell Tower updates. Looking for #blackberry testers. (via @thesuggestr)
  16. Fire Eagle loves @tweetie and would love it even more if they had Fire Eagle integration! If you agree, let them know!
  17. @martinpolley We'll look into that one! Thanks for the heads-up
  18. @thesuggestr Within the next couple of weeks.
  19. @thesuggestr Mobile auths will not have the warning when we turn off OAuth 1.0 - we can't tell which one they're using at the moment.
  20. Lovely article on geo services and what constitute good privacy policies. http://bit.ly/1GcfpM (via @theopolitico)
