Sherlock Holmes (2009) - I've watched this film three times and now I can definitively say I don't get the appeal. Boring. 2★

Saving Private Ryan (1998) - Best war movie ever. Too many people avoid this film because of the violence. Tis a shame. Brilliant film. 5★

Father of the Bride (1991) - Even though every lady I know born in the 80s annoyingly obsesses over this film, it's very sweet and funny. 4★

Men in Black (1997) - A fun sci-fi comedy but it doesn't quite hold up to today's standards. Best part is the Will Smith rap/music video. 3★

The Mechanic - The 14-year-old me would have loved this. Pretty good B action film of the lesser Stalone/Schwarzenegger variety. 3★

Scent of a Woman (1992) - Pacino does Pacino better than anyone. Was expecting Dead Poets Society greatness. Not there but good. See it. 3★

Dark Shadows (2012) - So weird. Was it meant to be scary or funny? I would have loved either but not both. Didn't work for me. 2★
