  1. How long is long enough to recover from losing your shirt (not to mention pants) in a startup before jumping in to another one?
  2. @hundreddollar I'd almost think you and @stevenwalling have the same stylist.
  3. @PragueBob I agree portable data is good for users, but I've seen how much that data is worth -- far more than the ad revenue
  4. @PragueBob Until then, control of your data is the price you pay to use a social network.
  5. @PragueBob Perhaps if users were willing to pay for all of those servers, support, etc. then it would be fair to demand portable data.
  6. @verso if only you could see what I've seen with your eyes!
  7. Got some great IRC love from @urbanairship. Thanks gang.
  8. @verso We wanted to rename them to iCoop, and provide them in a variety of translucent colors ala early iMacs.
  9. @linuxaid Not likely to make #ip6, sick family and many demands on my time. Look for a fabulous return at #ip7 though!
  10. New contest: Code Review Tweets, constructive software critique in 140 chars. #codereview
  11. @linuxaid I realize that wasn't the most helpful presentation for the tip. I sense a blog post on iPhone app architecture brewing.
  12. Damn you @Mettadore now I will not sleep until raspberries fly.
  13. One problem with @TweetDeck on Mac is that Command-, doesn't bring up prefs, and there's no Preferences item in the TweetDeck menu.
  14. .@Mettadore Theoretically we could whip up an UrbanAirship-backed app to hit up SOMEBODY's iPhone with a raspberry in a few minutes.
  15. @verso You don't know how much of a sour puss @Mettadore can be.
  16. FightingMonk's first rule of UI: If your view needs to talk to your parent's parent you need some architecture. #yourdoingitwrong
  17. @linuxaid What about a global manager that tracks all open modals and exposes a CloseAll method?
  18. Evening iPhone hacking commences
  19. @linuxaid It would seem revisiting your architecture might be prudent. MIGHT.
  20. @Mettadore Congratulations! You've birthed a non-flesh citizen and given it a dowry. With luck, years from now, it will get married.
