  1. @eddieizzard have you ever edited your wikipedia entry? You should claim to Have invented something like the @ symbol!
  2. @eddieizzard Booh. Put the guy with the porn star tache back on screen!
  3. @stephenfry Just watched the 'Catholics force for good' debate. Excellent result. AW came over looking like fool. Well done
  4. @AliBacon I didn't realise Geoff needed installation?
  5. @AliBacon Re: emails. I used to have a boss that *never* deleted emails. Drove sys admin to distraction. Had more than rest of co. together!
  6. @alibacon Got v. cross with Radio Times. Review was really 'no one will want to watch dry science prog'. I bloody well do! To few on telly.
  7. @AliBacon Re: Black holes. V. interesting Horizon this week on the subject. Of course, difficult to see, being black on black background!
  8. @AliBacon sounds like the perfect library for the science geek, esp. if you can actually read latin. (Not me then)...
  9. Lizzie has found a friend to run around church yard with. Is laughing like a maniac, as is friend. Just have to avoid injuries now.
  10. @BTCare I tweeted yesterday about prob. with broadband phone not allowing calls. I've just unplugged router and restarted. Now working.
  11. Wondering why the young man across the road feels its necessary to wander around with laptop in arms but no clothes on. Get dressed muppet!
  12. @travellerman17 And doesn't it feel like it. You just get dragged along at breakneck pace from beginning to end. Brilliant.
  13. @BTCare When I try and make a call on my broadband phone I get a message about not being able to call out or receive calls. Any ideas?
  14. @mrchrisaddison Its the 'come hither' look she gives the camera in the Autumn song that gets me every time. To good for childrens telly!
  15. @AliBacon agreed about Kerouac not getting a deal nowadays. Shame, I thought the pace and urgency of 'On the Road' was fab. What do I know!
  16. @AliBacon Kerouac wrote 'On The Road' in three days on a big roll of paper fed in to typewriter. Now days we have it easy in comparison.
  17. @AliBacon Advantage of word processing, you can revisit and change the text without necessarily having to completely rewrite.
  18. @AliBacon Not looking for excuses. Aware that need to write just to get a handle on what I want to write. The first draft is just a draft...
  19. @AliBacon Silly really, cos if you don't try you don't know, and you can always scrap and rewrite however many times its necessary.
  20. @AliBacon Thanks. I *know* that if I was ever to write something, it has to start with hitting the keys, it just feels like big step.
