  1. @SarahSloane sher. . . sher . . . coulda been Miracle Whip
  2. @knitfemme It's not silly. It may be Frankenwheel to me but it's your beloved. Cherry bobbins are perfect.
  3. @SarahSloane Mayo thing? Dare we ask?
  4. Pics of the finished Romeldale and the first bobbin of the Icelandic are on the blog: http://fiberqat.blogspot.com. Picking up the socks.
  5. @knitfemme I knew you would have a hard time letting go of your precious but you'll be so much happier with having more than one bobbin.
  6. @JudyBecker You don't have a ball winder? I'm shocked! Shocked!
  7. The Icelandic has a bunch of VM in it. It's a messy spin. I have to wear an apron but the singles are great for making jacket yarn.
  8. Wound off and washed the canteloupe Romeldale. It was a bitch to ply off the center pull ball but its day of rest settled things down.
  9. @cabezalana Have a wonderful trip!
  10. @modeknit ROFL! Aunt Flo hasn't visited me in 2 1/2 years and I don't miss her one bit. Thanks for the grins.
  11. All hell has broken loose in the neighborhood with fireworks but all is calm at Chez Runamuck. Now to bed and the Sunday NY Times crossword.
  12. First bobbin of the Icelandic is done. First stage complete. #TourDeFleece
  13. @JudyBecker It was easy. I just showed her the Blue Delft and she was snagged hook line and sinker. {BEG}
  14. Had a lovely afternoon with Jennie. Wished it could have lasted longer but the store kicked us out. I intro'd her to StitchJones Dyepot.
  15. I'm one of the hibernators. I melt when the temp goes above 80.
  16. Happy US Independence Day! The official first day of summer in western Oregon. The natives go into hibernation and the transplants cheer.
  17. I was mistaken on the canteloupe fiber from Reflection Farm. They raise white and CVM Romeldale, so it must be that. It's fabulous fiber.
  18. Finished up the canteloupe corriedale with the lovely surprise of the fiber's source attached to the end of the roving. Reflection Farms.
  19. @jovanevery Hooray for Freya, another true believer in Asphalta! http://www.bernetterudolph....
  20. The furries came in from the heat. Now that they've had some food and water they want out. Don't they understand they'll melt out there?
