  1. @Jolimont Sure. Actually, even when I do look at news here, it seems mostly harmless. Not this long list of violent crimes I see elsewhere.
  2. I read U.S. and Danish news. Which makes me feel both informed and happy that I don't live there.
  3. I almost never pay attention to French news. Guess that's why I feel like there's nothing but good news here.
  4. RT @qjohn: "Consciousness" is shorthand for this fabulous display of energy aware of itself.
  5. Book of Genesis, illustrated by R.Crumb, arrived. This might be the first time I actually read a whole section of the Bible.
  6. TGIF the 13th
  7. @TSSTaylor Slingbox is very neat. And with 2Mbps it is just like being there.
  8. Testing a service where one an watch US TV with Slingbox over the net. Feeling a little nostalgic looking at LA cable.
  9. RT @mayasound: Thought shattering itself against its own nothingness is the explosion of meditation.. J.Krishnamurti (via @novaspivack)
  10. RT @jonhusband @fpaynter we LOST the Industrial revolution. The robber barons and their heirs the corporations won.
  11. @HarmonyElohim I like to make you smile.
  12. Yeah, maybe I wish I could work 27/7, but there's only 24 hours.
  13. It is nice to be able to overdeliver, at least once in a while. One probably shouldn't be in any business where one can't easily do so.
  14. Admin areas that log you out after 10 minutes of inactivity are a big pain. There are some things I expect to stay logged into 27/7
  15. My little tv appearance has been moved to Monday. Damn, I was just getting in the mood.
  16. @vaxen_var Oh, didn't take a picture. But my wife commented that I looked like I had just decided everything was great.
  17. The grin on my face is because I decided that a cold, rainy autumn evening is an absolutely lovely thing.
  18. The premiere of "The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus" was sold out, so we had a nice little walk around town instead. Trying for Friday.
  19. @dezunne Cool. Science & Sanity is on my short list of most important books. Even though it is pretty damned hard to read.
  20. I think I'm going to ignore Twitter lists until Tweetie supports them.
