  1. Just saw my boy perform at school. It was one of those moments when you are glad you asked your boss if you could be late for a meeting.
  2. On line at Target just now and a woman was buying a Dora video game. She joked to the line ''she's the babysitter.'' Sad.
  3. I've been using exclamation points a lot lately in emails at work and at home! What's up with that?!
  4. We're in the middle of our annual Christmas @ Rockefeller Center adventure where we act like tourists. I never get tired of this!
  5. Dev is off on a school trip and I'm at my desk getting ready for a conference call. He doesn't know how good he has it. But I'm lucky too.
  6. Holiday Tradition: I carve the turkey and ham and in the process eat so much meat I can't eat the rest of the dinner. I love traditions!
  7. I'm cleaning collard greens. Why do the guys always get the lousy holiday food prep jobs?
  8. Sitting in the park under the Manhattan Bridge for the first time in weeks. See a 3 legged miniature Yorkie & someone photographing a shoe.
  9. Saw a 300 lb. black man in a kilt. Gotta love that. Only in NYC, and maybe urban parts of Scotland.
  10. We just gave our jack-o-lantern Michael Jackson's chin. It's an homage.
  11. Today I am Han Solo, my wife is Princess Leia and Dev is Darth Vader. I think we are now officially the dorkiest people I know.
  12. No matter where I may roam I'll always call Brooklyn my home.
  13. @bomaniarmah I agree. Fatherhood is gangsta!
  14. Today I really appreciate working with an old friend and mentor. I don't know how long I'll be saying that but it's true today!
  15. On this beautiful Sunday I am really appreciating good ideas (from my wife), and making progress in my challenging homework assignments.
  16. Today I am really appreciating Zyrtec-D. I have not had such an easy allergy day in weeks. Big Pharma is good for something, I guess.
  17. I really appreciate being paid for something that I would consider doing for free!
  18. @childsplayx2 Already got me! Replaced my shirts too.
  19. Sitting under the Manhattan Bridge downing an energy drink, longing for the natural energy of a well-rested 1st grader.
  20. Thank goodness, no tears today. Yesterday was not the best first day of school ever for my 6-year-old. Then again, it was only his 2nd time!
