  18. @kubileya @byrnegreen Unfortunately that figure represents actual farm sites, not ownership. Modern factory farms house millions of birds.
  19. Just calculated a crazy stat using most recent census of agriculture: 2.31% of American egg farms house 97.45% of egg laying chickens.
