  1. Bought a used skid steer and started pushing down some trees to extend the driveway a bit. Rammed earth workshop blog post coming soon!
  2. Ben just left to pick up a trailer and a bobcat... :D
  3. Back from the rammed earth workshop in AZ. It was amazing. Blog post and photos soon.
  4. Leaving for Tucson tomorrow to attend a rammed earth and passive solar workshop. We're armed with cameras, notepads and pencils. Heeeeyaaah!

  6. Clothesline progress: Put together poles, added eye-hook hardware, dug holes, installed poles with concrete, waiting on them to set.
  7. Little things around the Lavonia house: Putting up a clothesline, installing a water filter, and planning a winter garden.
  8. Gearing up for the Backyard Sustainability workshop at The Ashevillage Institute this weekend. Pics and comments to come next week. :)

  16. Mowed our lawn with the reel mower today (post to follow), and then built a desk as cheaply and nicely as I could to start my office.

  19. Our weekend: Getting couch, putting together mower, mowing lawn, installing new fan, building stairs and bed, cooking, yard cleanup, loving.
  20. Amtrak got in at 6:30am. Afterward I spent three hours sleeping, then cleaned, unpacked, laundry, window guys, moved furniture, now tired.
