  1. So much for the reading plan... Wasn't in the mood for anything I tried picking up until trying Black Ships by Jo Graham.

  6. @J_Oliver You're smarter than I... I don't read short stories that often but this is the second book of them I've attempted reviewing.
  7. Writing reviews of short story collections = hard. Novels are so much easier to sum up.

  14. Got the new Trans Siberian Orchestra CD, just in time to go to the concert in a few weeks! (And got an SF book and a mystery book with it.)
  15. @xicanti It's not nearly as good as The Doctrine of Labyrinth, but I do like it. I'm sad I'll be all out of Monette books after it though!

  18. @LynnFlewelling I got my BA at UMO. My husband is the grad student there (he did recently put up a post that mentioned that).
