  1. In case you were wondering... "Scutaro is due for some serious regression to his offensive level" (http://is.gd/4UwaU via FanGraphs)
  2. @tommy_landry LOL. BTW, couldn't resist looking up James' 2010 Francoeur proj: .276/.318/.437; 18 HR & 75 RBI. I'd call that "best case."
  3. @tommy_landry That's why you'll never be handed a front-office job by the Mets, my friend.
  4. Over/under on # of times "Francoeur" & "change of scenery" appear in same paragraph this offseason: 450.
  5. @jasoncollette RE: Pirates Could Trade Doumit http://bit.ly/3SjsQ8 (via @mlbtraderumors), rumor includes Rays. Your thoughts?
  6. @TheRoundtable re: late-round draft targets, you see James' Drew Stubbs projections? .267/11 HR/51 SB... there's late-round gold if true.
  7. Great to see the fantasy baseball world now so well represented on Twitter; welcome to FanGraph's @enosarris & Fanball's @BaseballGuys!
  8. @TheRoundtable Seems likely Uggla will be traded, meaning Coghlan could get 2B eligibility quickly in 2010 (restoring #roto value), yes?
  9. @blakethomas LOL, soul-crushing is the word for it; funny how folks would be thrilled by a moderate .255/30 HR for Davis in '10 @ this point
  10. @TheRoundtable RE: Ellsbury, funny you mention it; James sees a higher BA for Borbon (.308) than Ellsbury (.302).
  11. @expectingrain5 good question; my guess is that we probably won't see Desme this year; still has some work to do despite some gaudy stats.
  12. @jasoncollette @TheRoundtable @sporer RE: Borbon wow - James calls for .308 w/42 SBs
  13. @knoxbardeen LOL I know what you mean...
  14. @TheRoundtable Posey will be hyped no doubt, but my guess would be Strasburg is this year's Wieters
  15. @jasoncollette @sporer oh, yeah, I went to Wieters projections right away! .311 w/20 HR. That's downright reserved compared to 2009.
  16. @knoxbardeen @SacksJacked so what's realistic for Davis in 2010? I can see him holding off Smoak for a short time w/.260-.265 & 30 HR. You?
  17. @ericwyman good point re: Davis, but I think Kemp's 30+/30+ potential will have fantasy mgrs in a frenzy by the spring
  18. @SacksJacked I'm in minority I know, but I'd rather have Votto than Morales, Gonzalez, Dunn, Youk...
  19. @knoxbardeen @SacksJacked Yeah, Davis hurt a lot of fantasy mgrs in '09. James still sees 30 HR in 2010 (in 494 AB)...
  20. Me, too... think he's being underrated in early rankings - RT @jhalpin37 2010 fantasy 1B preview; I <heart> Votto. http://bit.ly/2R2PO0
