  1. The FIA have announced several decisions: http://bit.ly/fiadecisions including wins count more than points this year, & budget cuts for '10.
  2. BMW boss Mario Theissen says the team are committed to F1, even though their spending in the sport is down 40% to what it was in 2005.
  3. Toyota team principal Tadashi Yamashina has admitted he fought the board to stay in the sport, and they need to start getting results.
  4. Sam Michael believes that the "only-just-legal" diffuser they & Toyota are running will be copied up and down the grid by the Australian GP.
  5. Bridgestone revealed their solution to the white stripe problem - no grooves on slicks so instead, they put a green stripe on each sidewall.
  6. The BBC confirmed many details of their '09 F1 plans, with mobile and internet coverage boosted considerably. Most exciting news? The Chain.
  7. Force India sneakily ran their new car at Silverstone ahead of the Jerez launch and test. No word on how successful the shakedown was.
  8. USF1 officially announced, with very little in the way of details. Seems to be a fan friendly, approachable team though. No drivers yet.
  9. Force India are set to launch their new car - the VJM02 - on 1st March. The launch will be in Jerez ahead of the test.
  10. After it was revealed that Nick Fry turned down a £100 million rescue deal from Bernie, Honda now say they have no serious offers.
  11. Ecclestone has said that Richard Branson is exactly the kind of person he wants in F1, and he has been in contact directly to sort the deal.
  12. Danica Patrick says she is flattered by the USF1 link but as yet the team haven't contacted her or vice versa. She's moderately interested.
  13. After the excitement of yesterday, Honda have reminded us that if negotiations fail, there is still a chance the team could be shut down.
  14. FOTA have scheduled a press event for March 5th to announce their vision of F1's future, after months of meetings and some market research.
  15. Honda have confirmed that there have been bids from a number of parties, including Richard Branson's Virgin Group. No decisions as yet.
  16. Ferrari topped the timesheets in Bahrain for day two, despite a KERS emergency. The team handled a cooling issue and no one got hurt!
  17. Ken Anderson has admitted that USF1 would be interested in testing Danica Patrick for a race seat, mostly because she "gets a lot of press."
  18. Flavio has said Renault have a strong future in Formula 1, despite the fact that title sponsor ING have confirmed they'll pull out for 2010.
  19. After a dismal show in testing, and news they won't be at Barca, Renault chief Bob Bell says they are on course for a strong first race.
  20. Honda have hit the headlines again this weekend, with suggestions that Bruno Senna is bringing enough sponsorship with him to fund 4 races.
