  13. @jdroth Tomorrow is buy nothing day, like most other days of the year. Buying nothing just one day a year is not going to make a difference.
  14. @MoneyEnergy So it is a bullish indicator even if it is an irrational waste, like lawns and golf courses in the desert.
  15. @MoneyEnergy But higher tuition indicates a richer society. But in direct outlays and in keeping people unproductive for longer times.

  18. @MoneyEnergy Pop the ed. bubble by allowing corporations to test applicants for IQ directly (rather than having colleges do it indirectly)
  19. @MoneyEnergy I beg to differ. Richer parents who can afford higher tuition do not necessarily have smarter kids.
