  5. @jas8522 Cocoa's animation methods use absolute frames; starting the animation at the last possible minute and not caching frames would fix.
  6. @jas8522 System Prefs will do the same thing. An animation is queued up from the start, with a set final frame.

  11. @icedcocoa Have you found Ad Hoc wifi to be horrible at maintaining a connection? I note your users, like mine, report intermittent failure.
  12. @cbarrett iPhone to iPhone can do this; hence GameKit's BT network stack. Can't see how to do the same on the Mac, though, for iPhone-2-Mac.
  13. @cbarrett Not tethering per sé. I just want to establish an IP based local network so I can communicate over a TCP socket.
  14. I hate that while iPhone's Bluetooth stack supports networking, Mac OS X's doesn't seem to. Or am I missing something?
