  7. Just learned from Douglas Cohen that my story "Daughter of Botu" received an Honorable Mention in Gardner Dozois' Year's Best SF 26. Squee!
  8. Doing a lot of psych research of late: the halo effect and oxytocin. Makes me wanna lock folks in separate rooms and do experiments on them.
  9. WiP first readered, several editing passes committed (no epilogue required), and it's at first draft. Time to inflict it upon critiquers.
  10. 200 words on the WiP and it's at zero draft, two weeks from inception. Productivity win! Except I think it may need an epilogue...
