@ I don't like the protocol war, but nearly every time we talk about NFS, it comes down to 10GbE for better perf. That's $$$$$.

@ But not everyone can afford 10GbE. The switches alone make the 10GbE solution more expensive than FC.

Just to remind us, what how bloatware works... Brocade Fabric OS 3.2.1c is 5Mb, 5.3.2c is 341Mb, 6.2.1b is 643Mb, 6.3.0b is now 1.15Gb.

Brocade 4020 Switch in the BladeCenter H is limited to release 6.2.1b, 'cos 6.3.0b requires 45% extra space. Internal flash to small I guess

Logitech online shopping used to be better. You could select the Country Keyboard mapping you wanted (Qwerty instead of Qwertz). Bah :-(

Surprised... the IBM BladeCenter came with an up to date firmware. Still to do: 27 updates for HS22 blades, Cisco 3012, Brocade 4020.

Looks like a VM is doing large reading or scan in it's disk, but because it's on NFS I can't yet locate the VM.

Created an OpenFiler server (iSCSI so far) with an Adaptec 5805 & 6x 1TB disks, which looks to deliver iSCSI luns faster than an HDS AMS2100.
