  1. Made it to Virginia. Now just need to make it across to the coast.
  2. Confirmed that it we must sound as foreign to the locals as they do to us. Had a man in Lookout ask if we were British.
  3. Of all the big scary pitbulls & german shephards that have chased us in the last few days, which did @camage spray? A litle boston terrier.
  4. Must be a huge puppy mill nearby. Awoke to the sound of dozens, if not hundreds of dogs in the distance.
  5. Started our ride through Appalachia today. Dogs everywhere. Also saw a naked boy climbing on a tree.
  6. In Harrodsburg the other day, @camage blew a cashier's mind when he revealed that he thought Kentucky bluegrass was literally blue.
  7. Made it to Berea, KY just as the rain started coming down. Hoping it lets up before I have to set up my tent.
  8. Totally left my non-riding shorts/pants at camp last night. Damnit.
  9. Kentucky roads are not exactly conducive to cycling; no shoulder and the outside foot is a rumble strip.
  10. About to visit Abraham Lincoln's boyhood home outside Hodgenville, Kentucky. Also just learned that @snackhead just got his second flat ...
  11. About to visit Abraham Lincoln's boyhood home outside Hodgenville, Kentucky.
  12. Sitting in a gas station in nowhere Kentucky. Rather than a fly swatter, lady is unleashing a can of bug spray to deal with a lone fly.
  13. Turned out to be a beautiful day. Cloudless sky and much cooler with lower humidity. Wind is a bit of a pain however.
  14. Awoke to find super thick fog. Hoping the sun comes out and clears it out. In the meantime, free church food.
  15. @allie05 sorry, very glad you came. Hope you enjoyed Summerfest in Sebree!
  16. Another church hookup. No rainy night for us. Fridge has been raided and bellies are full.
  17. Sebree's city festival was also taking place last night. Lots of fried food, awkward stares and terrible music.
  18. Had the ultimate hookup in Sebree last night. Church had a bike hostel in the basement. Showers, laundry, food, and a/c.
  19. Just saw a sign outside Clay, Kentucky that was changed from "Speed Zone Ahead" to "pee on head."
  20. Stopped at a cafe in Cave In Rock, Illinois. Hoping this storm blows over before our ferry ride to Kentucky.
