  3. At last is Saturday ! my most loved day :-) Monday to Friday @ work, Sundays cycling on the highways, Saturdays are my only true free days
  4. After reviewing my options in the local market have opted for purchasing the parts at http://ewiz.com, having previously purchased from them
  5. Also planning to buy me a new game rig: have to buy: new CPU, MB, 8 GB of RAM, a 260 GTX Nvidia video card and a half TB 32 MB cache SATA HD
  6. Coming home (relatively early) from the job ! Had to do a lot of house-mantainance :-) Or even better, watch a good film !
  7. Planning where should I ride next Sunday, I think I would like to visit the Archaeological Site of Tepexi el Viejo, in eastern Puebla
  8. Let's start the much needed saturday downtown shopping (computer and electronic parts). Tomorrow have a work party, I'll attend with my wife

  11. The best Alpha review I have seen http://ow.ly/7Jz9 Worth reading it :-) I'm with you Ted !
  12. Alpha http://ow.ly/7iMw , not a Google killer, just another (expensive) flop :-(
  13. I guess that the rest-of-world's knowlegde (that Google crawls) is still far superior than the knowledge that Alpha (alone) could synthesize
  14. Really sad for an early (1995) Mathematica user, but can't stand Alpha's gibberish replies to real-world technical and philosophical queries
  15. I guess that if you are tring to solve a primary school homework, Alpha could possibly help, but with real-world questions, it simply chokes
  16. Have inputted sensical queries to Alpha (that could be replied by Google with meaningful web pages information) getting no answer at all
  17. Have tried Alpha http://ow.ly/7iMw machine, and so far its capabilities seem to me un-impressive, I think it is going to be a bluff
  18. Watching the live Wolfram Alpha born on justin.tv and waiting for the baby to cry http://ow.ly/7dcD :-)
  19. Found a screencast of the capabilities of Alpha, by its autor: http://ow.ly/6OuX Awesome !
  20. For me, and at this stage (without more info) Alpha could be the Google killer, at least in the long run, and for computational questions.
