  1. Recorded music is really not that old considering how many lives it affects daily.
  2. SVN was absolutely the dominant free version control system, now it's an open field with Git and Mercurial. What changed?
  3. Every once and a while you forget how much cool stuff there is on the internet.
  4. Spent 40 minutes trying to get oauth to work instead. Fun.
  5. Starting my first web app in Django. Wish me luck.
  6. Upgrading Wordpress is now so ridiculously easy.
  7. She then proceeded to say that "on the internet, it's hard to tell what's legal and what's not." Words of truth.
  8. Younger sister asked if using Podworks to copy your songs back from your iPod to your computer was legal. I said it was.
  9. Saw Dog Day Afternoon at Bryant Park last night. Was less violent, funnier than I had remembered.
  10. Damn you music player. There is really only one thing I want from you, and still, you manage to fuck it up.

  16. Software fail. Downloading trial of Indesign CS4.
  17. While the 1st 3 are essentially data-open, the single sign-on keeps me hooked. MobileMe seems to be the only real contender, but not free.
  18. Google services I use daily: Gmail, Calendar, Reader, Maps and of course, Search.
  19. The frequency of Ubuntu updates is driving me crazy. Updates are good, daily reminders are not.
  20. Summer project: start and finish The Wire.
