  1. GWaving with@daylemajor about EFL and coursebooks... Fun/interesting!
  2. If you're interested in EFL and coursebook developments, and have a GW account, DM me with details and I can invite you into the wave!
  3. I just started what I call an 'experimental EFLwave' in GW. It's slightly more ambitious, to check out a wider/deeper discussion.
  4. RT @PeterVogel: Joining G.Wave isn't a problem. A local Vancouver radio station yesterday devoted a tech show to GW. Not one caller!
  5. RT @tomwhitby: Educator's PLN has sent out hundreds of Google Wave invitations to members. Are you a member? join now. http://bit.ly/206EBo
  6. RT @Larryferlazzo: @ddeubel , the man behind EFL Classroom 2.0 & a zillion other things. I strongly recommend you follow him. | 2nded!
  7. .@hoprea Don't we all (have a lot to learn about Twitter anyway)? :-P
  8. In general, going from Twitter to GWave will not be worse/more intimidating than transition from s.th. like Yahoo Groups to Twitter...
  9. RT @ddeubel: @englishraven Thanks for the kudos. Trying a more personal approach to twitter... | Good move - & educators should follow you!
  10. I DO however love the idea of an #edwave, and think it could learn a lot from the #edchat on Twitter :-)
  11. .@hoprea That is a very good point - #edchat is set up around the 140-character medium. Moving it would change the feel completely...
  12. @tomwhitby Yes, and as I said, I wasn't aware of that and don't approve of it. ;-)
  13. You could have #edchat for twitter and #edwave for GWave! They could be friendly siblings...
  14. .@hoprea Sure. But, as you and others have rightly pointed out, the main issue is the public accessibility (at this stage)
  15. @tomwhitby Though I understand your passion! It's been your (amazing) baby and all...
  16. @tomwhitby They're only discussing the idea, Tom, which is the great thing about #edchat. Don't take it too personally :-)
  17. The bonus of Wave over Twitter is the threading capacity, easy review and later access + potential for break-out groups & private exchanges
  18. @tomwhitby Tom - was that poll set up without your involvement? I had no idea... and that is wrong.
  19. just voted "Yes" on "If #edchat was held on Google Wave, would you participate?" vote too ➔ http://bit.ly/N1zmw
  20. #edchat on Google Wave would be awesome, and much more effective, in my opinion!
