  2. Team arrived back safely about an hour ago - Praise God for safe travels! Now to recover from a night spent in an Economy Class seat!
  3. We've learnt a lot about God and what he is doing here in Burkina Faso. Please keep praying for the Dagara, Djan, San and many others!
  4. Driving to the airport, sad to be leaving! We'll be flying via Niamey and Paris and hopefully arrive at Heathrow at 10:15 tomorrow morning
  5. A day of finishing off odds and ends and packing to leave. We fly out at 8 15 tonight with lots of memories from the past 4 weeks!
  6. At a nice west african restaurant enjoying our last dinner together as a team. Having a great time but sad to think about leaving tomorrow!
  7. Having a day of reflection, looking back over the past 4 weeks and the things that God has been teaching us individually and as a team
  8. Team are having fun playing Rehydration - a drinking (water) game loosely based on Snap
  9. Just had our final Bible study from Mark 7. Now doing some dishes as Laura M tries to make some sweet potato chips in the oven...
  10. Went to huge church with 3,000 people this morning - quite an experience! After cooking rice and meat for lunch we're now siesta-ing
  11. Out for a meal of maize porridge, chicken and chips with the project leader for the Dagara team. Sad to have to say goodbye
  12. Having a rest day. Some of the team are shopping for souvenirs while others relax and do some laundry
  13. Ben, Hannah and Lyndsey are helping to furnish and set up a house that will be used by people coming to Burkina short-term
  14. Copy and pasting days, months and Bible verses into local language calendars that will be printed for 2010
  15. Just had a great team discussion about the Bible and culture and how different cultures engage with and learn from scripture
  16. Hearing about how people can be encouraged to use translated scriptures so that the lives of individuals and communities are transformed
  17. Visited the ANTBA print shop where literacy materials and translated scriptures are printed. We'll be helping out with some stuff tomorrow
  18. Going to visit offices of ANTBA - the Burkina Bible translation and literacy organisation whose projects we visited in Tougan and Diebougou
  19. Arrived safely in Ouagadougou, which isn't quite as hot as when we left. Will rest for a while and maybe do a few things later
  20. Just leaving Tougan on the bus back to Ouagadougou. First part will be bumpy, but we're praying for a safe and uneventful journey
