  1. @james_blue_cat Rats. Although that does give me an excuse not to see it without having to admit I'm wussing out.
  2. @james_blue_cat Really? I've heard only good things. Granted I haven't dug very deep.
  3. @darraghdoyle Well, I don't think anyone can claim that it isn't gratuitously deprecated.
  4. (Sudden insecurity alert: is it arrogant of me to implicitly claim via url that my blog "is gd"?)
  5. New post up, re: hair. Even more thrilling than it sounds, if that's possible. http://is.gd/4MObs
  6. @gimmeaminute (Can't recall what they were actually singing, just using Alice as a placeholder for "song that dickheads sing".)
  7. @gimmeaminute On the plus side there's (probably) no "hilariously" costumed rugger-buggers singing "Who the fuck is Alice?" over and over.
  8. @gimmeaminute I got a bus into town from Donnybrook last night. Like unto the very din of hell itself.
  9. How To Write Badly Well: http://is.gd/4H5sQ
  10. Nifty cover design and all.
  11. Bimonthly print-on-demand literary journal that pays $1,000 per story: http://www.electricliteratu...
  12. @davidmaybury Aye. Singin' and dancin' and writin' and sleepin'. And rasslin' dogs, which is always a bonus.
  13. @davidmaybury Naer a bother. Yourself and the Debster have a good night on Saturday?
  14. I just noticed Google Reader has a "Sort by magic" option. I'm scared to click it.
  15. @GaffHousekeepin Speaking of MGS, dunno if I ever sent you this: http://is.gd/4tYvQ
  16. @twentymajor The Kindle could be great for reference books and the like. Basically turn it into a Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.
  17. @twentymajor Dunno about the Sony, but the Kindle is crippled DRM-wise. I don't like it when my gadgets hate me.
  18. @twentymajor "Cracked" in this case meaning "functioning in some kind of sane way".
  19. @GaffHousekeepin What a terrifyingly happy man.
  20. Stayed up much too late last night playing Jedi Knight II online, but my word what a lot of fun that is.
