  7. @JennJoShoe For life cycle of plants-I'd use fast plants. Grow in 1-2 weeks.
  8. Working on my school's ELL SD plan. Thinking of ways to make it individual instead of 1 size fits all.
  9. @frankiesuther One strategy that I use is grouping kids & pausing to pose questions & allow them to discuss.
  10. Students will write their first book reviews for Amazon starting Monday. They really take it seriously as the "entire world" will see it.
  11. @arobinson526 I would check out Larry Ferlazzo's website. He lists great online activities for ELL students.

  13. My 7th graders did a great job reading to the 1st graders. We were able to tie it in w/ their topic in science. Next round will be fiction.
  14. My 7th graders are going to read to 1st graders tomorrow. This has become an amazing way for them to practice fluency and more!
  15. District looking at performance pay for next year. Curious what final version will look like. For now, I'm on the fence.
  16. Getting ready to meet with a MS math teacher to plan co-teaching. Know of any good fraction or basic algebra activities? DM me, please. TIA.
