  8. My husband just returned from Yosemite where he hosted disabled adults on the adventure of their lives. He had a ball!

  11. Whenever Steve watches our kids play sports, he goes to the other side of the field and coaces them from the side line. I love watching it.
  12. Joseph hangs on his dad's every wrod and Steve teaches him method and form. He's only 8 but it's exciting to watch...both of them in fact!
  13. Joseph, our son is an athlete. We'll never know since Steve's been in a chair his whole life, but I think Joe got his athletic skills.
  14. I'm watching my husband in the yard coaching our son on throwing a curve ball. He has no idea he's in a wheelchair and neither do our kids
  15. Stephen's parenting instinct has not changed, and he has proven to be an amazing coach to our kids. He loves watching his kids compete.
  16. Stephen had a parenting instinct that I had never seeen before. I thought I was good, but he ALWAYS knew what to do when I didn't. Always!
  17. I remember when we gave Charlotte her first bath, she cried...so I cried (hormones) I thought I was a horrible mom. He was so assuring!
  18. I realized early that with Steve as their dad with his physical limits, the emotional support was all I needed. He was always by my side.
  19. The kids as babies would zoom around, and it was so adorable! Three blonde beauties, my life is good.
  20. When Steve became a dad, I felt the people of our town both watching in (happy) surprise and elation that he had babies of his own..
