  1. @qrush Good Eats from Food Network: a cooking show by a nerd. Often dips gently into the chemistry.
  2. @abedra I'll give it a shot anyway. I can always optimize slower parts with pure Java.
  3. @capotej DreamHost: -/ I need to migrate the domain and blog to Slicehost
  4. @gregferrell Not I. However if that language is not C then, in my humble opinion, that language can go play in traffic.
  5. Hilarious. Someome tell this guy that improvement is a lim now -> infinity function. RT @qrush Epic rant. http://bit.ly/14xTqb
  6. @abedra how much of a hit?
  7. Unlike a few months ago, I now own an #android and have several apps that I want. #motivated
  8. .@abedra, I'm going to look into it a lot harder this afternoon. Added ceremony in #scala v #clojure is a nuisance. http://vurl.me/stats/BRP
  9. So has anyone out there written any compiled #clojure #android apps yet? Would definitely prefer over #scala...
  10. @jonathanjulian Perhaps because they'd also have to be internationalized at added expense? Otherwise, good question...
  11. Wow. Has it really been at least a year since the last time that I've done a typecast? Yes, I would prefer #clojure over #scala...
  12. @skhisma If it compiles to byte code, it should work. However, if it needs reflection, atm, it will probably fail. http://vurl.me/BRM
  13. @capotej You can generate bytecodes and, apparently, even code at a near-assembler level: http://vurl.me/BRL
  14. @rbazinet Will do eventually. I'm at a very basic level right now, spiking one small idea at a time. Started from http://vurl.me/BRK
  15. @abedra From what I've been able to see, Scala has had more luck on Android than Clojure atm. I'm open to Clojure but I don't want hassle.
  16. @capotej Nope. Those are the bytecodes.
  17. @rbazinet MacVIM + zsh. Seriously. You know me: I hate heavy tools.
  18. And, yes, #scala simply because pure Java makes me want to cry.
  19. Beginning to play with #android and #scala together in earnest.
  20. @dojo4 Really? Another hacker space? Awesome!
