weird, 56.com now links to some weird URL, still same content on site. but no "about" section or company contact information

@LoAndbehold if they focus on pro content, they are competing with p2p sites: pplive, ppstream. but i don't know too much about P2P sites.
@LoAndbehold yeah, that is why the time spent watching videos is so long in china. youku said as much in its release
because sensitive UGC content is much worse for video sites than pirated content. youtube-type openness can't work here.
youku admits pro content (i.e. tv shows and movies) is more popular than UGC. too early for UG-video in China? does make it easier for youku
youku press release claiming the are undisputed champ. i guess @kaiserkuo picked well http://tinyurl.com/5o9tdq

@ajschokora i only feel like i am getting my "real China" fix in july and august. the rest of the time it doesn't feel like it should count.
@ajschokora people's square, 1st floor of the massive bldg at start of pedestrian street.
@samflemming the taxi screens make me physically nauseous. i rotate the seat covers around to block the screens. they need to be banned.
@joonian it was mentioned in the WSJ story
@joonian hudson street just hooks up GS clients with ind. research firms, and invests in them. they themselves aren't a research firm.
@joonian we are now part of hudson street. have read CRR reports - surveys for huge industries like banking and real estate, seemed tough.
@apgalbraith thanks man. so here is the english article: http://tinyurl.com/5hburo
we finally closed the investment: http://www.caijing.com.cn/2... there is english in WSJ, but behind paid wall
