  1. Off to editorial meeting for INTO magazine, then press tickets to Akram Kahn and Nitin Sawhney's new piece at Sadler's Wells. Yay!
  2. Pasta'n'pesto'n'peas have sorted me right out. Thanks, @caiwingfield! Also, @jonwturney, you're not helping!
  3. Using the phrase "admitted taking anti-depressants" is stupid. "Admitted taking antibiotics" is equivalent. Bad Telegraph.
  4. "BBC4 cancels Javier de Frutos work over... graphic scenes including a hunchback Pope garrotting a pregnant woman". Headline of the day.
  5. A certain theatre company who keep sending me PR have an incredibly phallic logo, which amuses me a lot. Prize if you guess which company...
  6. Chumbawumba working on a musical with Red Ladder Theatre Co. Set in 1825. This is possibly the best/most surreal thing I've ever heard.
  7. Today is a keeping-the-head-very-still day.
  8. Day is over. I have an article plan. I have done an edit. We're off t'pub and then for a curry. YAY for pay day and lovely colleagues :D
  9. @toritruslow Obviously, it appeared in a review of Twelth Night. By Shakespeare. In a national broadsheet of some repute.
  10. @louiseridley you can subscribe to the Indie for a pound a week, but why would you? (see previous sandwich-related tweets).
  11. The metaphor mangler strikes again: "throw the bisexual cat among the sitting ducks". Yes, that phrase was published in the Indie, too...
  12. @richardarnatt *ESPECIALLY* because owning one would make me a bad Jew!
  13. I got retweeted by someone called "whingers". Not entirely sure I'm amused by this!
  14. @willwybrow yay! Hope you get the flabby dishonesty off your shoes...
  15. @willwybrow Hurrah. Delighted for you. Must be a weight off, time to enjoy yourself. Celebrating tonight?
  16. @willwybrow yay! what happened? *phew* see you on NYE?
  17. This is what happens when you sack all your Sub-Eds: a sandwich becomes worthy of 1,147 words in a national newspaper. 1,147. I kid you not.
  18. "No unseemly juices run down over my hands... it's the year's must-eat sandwich". THIS IS IMPORTANT, NEED TO KNOW STUFF.
  19. The Indie today 'Editor's choice': "This year's must eat sandwich". SERIOUSLY? WHERE'S THE NEWS?
  20. Indie today: "Can a Muslim say happy Christmas to his friends?" Um, yes. Obviously. Now, where, Jerome Taylor, is the ACTUAL NEWS?
