  1. @kunane np :)
  2. @kunane that sucks! Sorry to hear it
  3. @kunane that sucks!! Were they there temporarily or was she going to take them back? That sucks, she must be upset!
  4. @kunane Gotcha! And I agree. It's pretty time consuming to make both video and written versions but that would the ideal situation.
  5. @billy_koch and a bit of a pain if you're on the go... lol
  6. @billy_koch Dual screen setups are a bit of a luxury for most though!
  7. @billy_koch Absolutely
  8. @kunane thanks for the input. But I think a screencast alone sometimes is not user friendly enough, especially for following along
  9. @CatherineOmega Try TwitHive
  10. @iandoremus But I think when possible it's well worth the effort to have both video and written versions. Going to try to do that.
  11. @iandoremus thanks Ian. I agree. Time is definitely an issue since writing tutorials takes time, so does recording.
  12. RT @chriscoyier: Digging Into WordPress is now available! Save $5 with code DIWTWITTER -- http://digwp.com/book/
  13. @chriscoyier good thing I grabbed my copy already. Nice so far!
  14. @paulehr Thanks for the input. Yes I agree, it's definitely easier to follow along with a written tutorial
  15. @guariorodriguez Thanks for your input, and yes written code is good. Sometimes following along on screencasts typing code is hard
  16. @swscripts thanks for your input!! agree 100% :)
  17. @linclark @gregorysmart Thanks! Great point. I wasn't even thinking of screen readers yet, more about ease of reference and following along.
  18. @gregorysmart makes sense. I was thinking too of those with slow connections. Plus it's easier to work along with a written tutorial.
  19. Quick question: Do you think screencasts should have an accompanying written tutorial? Would that be redundant or user-friendly? #screencast
