  1. We've moved to another office, for me it's just one of dozens in recent years.
  2. "Lost among echoes of things not there / Watching the sound forming shapes in the air"
  3. Now that I've already made my decision to turn to the Dark Side... Where were you, guys, when I was looking for a job?
  4. No, not that kind of architecture, @architectschool. However blasphemous it may sound in your ears, I do systems architecture.
  5. @puredanger The strings are different by an extra dot, somewhere. Is it a quiz or something?
  6. A solution architect--everyone's whipping boy in a project in this organization. To get used to it, but first to survive this very project.
  7. Watching "Control" on TV. Oh, and did I mention I'm from Warsaw? But no, no actual correlation in it.
  8. Why fight procrastination, when we might just as well do something about working after hours? The effect mixed up with its cause.
  9. So why are all those smart asses always telling me how to fight procrastination, a perfectly natural act of self-defense, huh?
  10. Eureka! My most horrible procrastination episodes always come in pairs with the efforts to catch up with my job at weekends.
  11. Haven't been here for a while--my new job has become pretty demanding. Haven't learned to cope with it yet, but trying.
  12. "He plays Monopoly with real hotels," as they say of a certain billionaire--a useful metaphor for an enterprise architect.
  13. Have just brought my loved ones back home from their summer camp, the boy looks content. #autism
  14. #javarsovia A good, professional standard of the conference as a whole.
  15. #javarsovia A day at a programmers' conference is over, now back to my chores (no code involved anymore).
  16. There are presentations aimed solely at selling the presenters themselves, which is pointless, as they then work the other way round.
  17. #javarsovia The Agile Manifesto, its principles, but now in a form of hard sell--aggressive, bully. Need I say more?
  18. #javarsovia Now a session on software architecture. I've a feeling I don't belong here either--don't want to, at the very least.
  19. #javarsovia In the context of working with legacy code, @mfeathers has been mentioned as a living classic.
  20. #javarsovia A session on dealing with a legacy code, something I've been doing for all my pro life, I suppose.
