  1. GSoC midterm is July 6th. Just a reminder :) !kde
  2. @mxcl million pound game is a bargain :)
  3. @markey The Chronoliths and The Blind Lake are good. Darwinia not-so-much. All are in the "weird event occurs on present-day earth" genre.
  4. @markey nah, I've read several of his books now, they aren't all great. Spin is the best. he's writing another book in the series btw
  5. @cabell ha, loyal to Missouri? :)
  6. Added Las Palmas weather to my iGoogle, its a complete waste of space. Same weather all week: high of 78, low of 66 F. No complaints. :)
  7. @ivancukic the concrete is poured and beginning to set. ;) There will be a BoF session about it at Akademy.
  8. @ivancukic Gitorious is open source and perhaps what git.kde.org will use, so you might as well get used it :)
  9. @tamasrepus, no probably just from the fact that its trivial to expose a qobject to dbus Probably internal classes not a real interface
  10. @tamasrepus looks like a bug. qdbusviewer displays the same arguments for all three openComposers so maybe the last one is valid.
  11. @tamasrepus where?
  12. Sarkozy: burkas reduces women to servitude and undermines their dignity. how are high heels different? I doubt his feminist motivation...
  13. Plasma in KDE 4.3 really doesn't memleak anymore, its great. Memleak fans should have no fear, Firefox is ready to pick up the slack here.
  14. There's a tornado touchdown somewhere nearish, but at least now I have a basement full of legos to retreat to.
  15. @markey you screwed up my igoogle widget. :D
  16. must read from NYT about Tehran today http://www.nytimes.com/2009...
  17. @illogical I haven't seen those first two movies. The comedy isn't like anchorman. Sherry liked it and she is more picky about comedies.
  18. @segphault you could switch to cmake. :) It really is better, but for gnome to switch: imagine the git drama times 5.
  19. The Hangover is a great movie, I don't remember the last time I enjoyed a comedy that much.
  20. @grundleborg I totally squashed a couple dozen commits for tpqt4 cmake at one point :)
