  1. @principals I'm listening to your "22 Tools in 44 Minutes" podcast - great work! #edchat
  2. Testing out some online collaboration suites - Wiggio.com, WizeHive.com, Huddle.net, etc. Huddle looks great - any recommendations?
  3. Win a new Macbook Pro on Cyber Monday 2009. Details here: http://bit.ly/29rFES
  4. New blog post: "Physics Envy" in education research - implications for instructional leaders: http://is.gd/56Xkn
  5. To-Do lists: @teachntech00 also likes Remember the Milk. Anyone use a paper-based system? http://is.gd/521Ys #edchat
  6. @plugusin Good points re: hierarchy. We work about 10 layers down in 3 different (local, state, fed) bureaucracies - has a big impact.
  7. @plugusin I can see that being tough in a "the nail that sticks up gets pounded down" climate, but teachers can lead in any climate.
  8. Jason recommends Remember the Milk for to-do lists. What do you use? http://is.gd/521Ys #edchat
  9. Question for the #edchat folks: how do you manage your to-do list? Please comment here:http://is.gd/521Ys
  10. Stinging, as usual:RT @TheOnion: Montessori School Of Dentistry Lets Students Discover Their Own Root Canal Procedures http://bit.ly/pIcew
  11. Instructional Rounds: Describe what you saw, analyze the evidence, and predict what students are learning (p. 100). Simple & powerful.
  12. RT @chadratliff: "If you put fences around people, you get sheep. Hire good people and leave them alone. Encourage experimental doodling."
  13. I'm sure #edchat will stay on Twitter, but I like the idea of a Google Wave option, too, if only b/c I want to try Wave.
  14. Liking Twitter's new Lists feature - taking suggestions for my School Leaders list at http://bit.ly/12Oyn5
  15. New blog post: Feedback for Performance: Low-Hanging Fruit http://bit.ly/2l89VH
  16. It's sounding like Google Wave would work better for a small group discussion than something as big as #edchat
  17. @djainslie Thanks - we bought used, and batteries aren't great. Wireless is good. Need more training - people are a bit hesitant to try.
  18. Anyone have experience to share about using a mobile laptop lab in an elementary setting? #edchat
  19. @RobertTalbert 3.5MM headphone jack->RCA adaptor, RCA cable to stereo, if you're not considering a pricey wireless solution.
  20. RT @ThinkPhysics: An #iPhone/#iPod app I wrote for my classroom. Call on a random student! (Free) http://bit.ly/hotseatapp
