  1. So, are we cannibalizing sales from current consumers who would pay full price anyway? Or, is discount way to reward our current consumers.
  2. If we did, our sales would be increased from previous level before the promotion.
  3. THis suggests that current consumers buy more of the product to take advantage of the price reduction, but we do not get new ones.
  4. So far, promotions do show sales lift, but when the promo ends, sales settle back down to level it was before.
  5. Our products are selling very well, so why reduce the price? However, retailers require them.
  6. TPR's (temporary price reductions) OK. We generally hate price reducing promos in general, because we don't think we need them at this time
  7. Best to define the specific promotions we try not to do: BOGO's (buy one get one free), free samples.

  10. I have posted a very basic ROI and Margin analysis we recently used to determine if it is feasible to sell a product in a foreign country.
  11. The brokers are still doing that, but I am not on them like I use to be. Just don't have the time.

  14. We have some big upcoming retail promotions for the fall that I am managing and trade shows around the corner that need prep work
  15. I see light at end of tunnel, so getting into a better mood.
  16. Sometimes, you have to chuck the priority list and grunt it out getting done what has to be done...means long hours, short temper
