  8. Moral dilemma: does one make a word in Scrabble that's wildly inappropriate? I can't seem to bring myself to do it. And it's a bingo!
  9. @iamkimiam No, but I use it all the time to describe my back when it's tense enough to make crunchy noises. Does that count?
  10. First snow of the year and I'm home, tucked in bed reading Pamuk's "Snow." It's not blowing me away like "My Name Is Red," but it's good.

  16. Off to Stella Blues to set up for the gig. Local folks: 9pm, two sets of music, no cover charge.
  17. I know I'm really getting back into the groove of playing piano again when I decide I need a nail clipper in my bag at all times.
  18. I need to find enough black clothing to get me through 13 performances of "A Civil War Christmas." And it has to be really warm.
  19. If I bring a thermos of coffee to rehearsal tonight, I might make it through & stay awake, but I'll never get to sleep when I get home. Hm.
  20. I want to play music, not get involved in diplomatic negotiations.
