  8. @amoyal if there is a demand for pets, there will be exploitation. they are existing to please us, not themselves
  9. @amoyal we created chicken to have large breasts, cows to produce more milk, and pigs to be abnormally fat. it's to please us, not them
  10. @amoyal there simply isn't a place for them in this world except to be exploited by humans.
  11. @amoyal yes. who would want to live a life of constant exploitation? they aren't natural. they aren't meant to be here. they're not for us
  12. @amoyal their ancestors lives in the wild but were nothing like the domesticated farm animals we know today the original species are extinct
  13. @amoyal that's not true. domesticated chickens, pigs, and cows are new species. just like dogs and cats. they never lived in the wild
  14. @amoyal they shouldn't be here. we created them for our own interests. the same with dogs and cats. they're all exploited by us.
  15. @amoyal the world isn't going to go vegan over night. we will never have to "let all the animals loose" they'll eventually cease to exist
  16. @amoyal it's not about letting them loose. it's about stopping the breeding all together of them as the demand drops to zero
  17. @amoyal have you ever seen Earthlings? http://eatingconsciously.bl...
  18. @amoyal they aren't dependent on us. they live a meager exploited life for the interest of humans, not themselves. they shouldn't be here
  19. @amoyal we don't have enough space in the world to provide dairy for everyone if we didn't kill the offspring
  20. @amoyal you're missing the point. we are using them. they shouldn't exist. they have to sell veal and leather to be profitable
