  2. I just posted a review of "Bob Bob Ricard", Soho, London. Anglo-Russian, Orient-Express style decor. AA Gill hated it. He's wrong!
  3. Merlin's Spellbound sampled twice in a week. Top bitter, hoppy dry flavour. Moreish to the extreme.
  4. Enjoyable Congleton Mini Beer Festival. Pick of the Beers - Abbeydale Fascination, Brewdog 5A.M. Saint, Salopian Kashmir.
  5. 3rd Annual Northwich Victoria Beer Festival - Sat 25th June 2011 at Victoria Stadium Northwich.
  6. Indigo, Stamford St SE1. Contemporary Indian / Bangladeshi. Food OK and well presented. Eerily empty though and wanted cash rather than card
  7. Tim Thai, Nantwich Rd, Crewe. Unbelievable value for lunchtime buffet - £3.99. Not the widest selection, but good food and amazing value.
  8. Zest, Edinburgh. Small modern Indian, bit pretentious for a 'curry house'. Pretentious prices and 'modern' portions to match. Food average.
  9. Bollywood Massala, Crewe. Busy Indian next door to the excellent Borough Arms. Food and portions above average. Good value.
  10. Tippoo Sahib, Edinburgh. Back to the 70s style basement Indian with upto date prices. Food mediocre to average. There are better choices.
  11. My two top beers from Wetherspoon's beer festival Brewdog - Trashy Blond ABV 4.1% Oakham - Rollercoaster ABV 4.8%
