  1. New blog post: http://bit.ly/1kUJAa
  2. New blog post: Announcing an Adobe AIR publish application. http://e2easy.wordpress.com/
  3. This is so cool! http://uncyclopedia.wikia.com/
  4. Why ISN'T there a Vector.sortOn() method!? I've also had issues with remote AMF classes involving the Vector class. Arrrggghhh!
  5. I'm pitted against the genetically-enhanced super mosquitoes today. Too fast to swat. Impervious to my electric repellant.
  6. Cheating in China=endemic =Why I left Beijing last year. "integrity" is not a Chinese concept. Sacking scapegoat teachers changes nothing.
  7. Struggling with Flex all morning. Prompted a new blog post. http://bit.ly/QKwTn
  8. Another Flex bug. Too many columns in an ADG, and the edge lines of those columns aren't displayed for last few columns of the right.
  9. When they change the name of Flex - how am I going to tell people it sucks!
  10. Generating a Flex ADG on the fly. Wish I'd made my own. Flex fails to do its resizing thing. invalidateDisplay() or ...size not working.
  11. Awake again. I realise that today is Norwegian Independence day. I'll look for hot-dogs and waffles at the ChiangMai sunday market later.
  12. I need to crash for an hour or so. Just eating and coding nowadays.
  13. http://www.effectiveui.com/... looks interesting. I don't think it wraps text around pictures, even between columns, like e2publish.
  14. Perhaps I shouldn't have abandoned e2publish (when I found out about BuzzWord). It had some powerful desk-top-publishing layout features.
  15. I feel sorry for Samantha Orobator. Arrested in an evil communist regime, no proper legal process, or representation + a showcase "trial".
  16. I've spent all day writing, and re-writing about 20 lines of code. I'm proud of the way it's turned out though. An elegant OLAP analysis.
  17. @jesterxl Frameworks CAN be good. Design patterns like MVC are useful. But if you're talking about the Flex framework - it's a pile of *
  18. Is the "Secret Teen Sound" a late April fool myth? I'm waaay over 25, and I can hear it as clear as anything.
  19. Does anyone know how to turn off keyboard navigation for a Flex DataGrid? Arrrgh! - I am forever fighting against Flex component behaviour.
  20. Recently been laboriously overshadowed by Flex drudgery. Now free to run in the limitless pastures and infinite horizons of pure code.
