  1. @ladykalessia Yeah, sorry I couldn't make DevHouse. :( It was Ben's wedding!
  2. When a person reaches out with unconstructive negativity, much harm is done. The dark cloud multiplies sadness. Better to be sunshine, no?
  3. Idea: Anonymous question retweeter - you dm a q to it, it adds a new hashtag (#q-1597) and tweets it. Use search to find answers.
  4. Ever get a horrible crik in your neck for no apparently good reason? How do you get it out? (Massage? Tub? Weed?)
  5. @jkraus Congrats!!!
  6. Sad thought telco of the day: remember those "you can hear a pin drop" Sprint ads from 10+ years ago? Ya can't even hear an anvil drop now.
  7. Puzzle: A) we're addicted to information (+ think we're not) B) we're confident we can multitask well C) research shows plainly we can't.
  8. Fighter jet (solo f-15?) over menlo park #milspotting
  9. But to clarify, the #hackerdojo Google Group is back online, thanks to fancy footwork by @jbunny via @dustball. Gracias!
  10. Google should put a note by the Groups setting "Allow anyone to join" that says "If you turn this on, Google will delete your group." TRUE.
  11. @progrium @fngkestrel We received no notice about #hackerdojo's takedown and were given no recourse. Chime in @ http://rurl.org/1o6i
  12. Ducca 5/5 on Yelp: Last night I had the best chicken of my life at Ducca. I didn't quite cry, but I misted up a bit.... http://bit.ly/btCic
  13. Google Groups just axed the #hackerdojo group for "A violation of Terms of Services". This is a project Google is sponsoring. WTF?
  14. Good enrepreneurial perspective: "How would this work if it were perfect / in the movies?"
  15. I can tell which of my friends are on iPhones because the call quality is roughly comparable to calling a ship. In Estonia. In the 1960's.
  16. Shosh's bday dinner at Ducca. It's unbelievably good. Just had possibly the best roast chicken of my life, misted up a bit. Wowza.
  17. Note to self - never EVER add --enable-optimization to a ./configure for a product you're not expert with yet. n00b!
  18. @chezbut I switched to esurance. All web-based, good rate, straightforward.
  19. Loving James Morrison + Nelly Furtado's "Broken Strings". It's so painfully pop, but I really dig it. Does that make me lame? (Probably.)
  20. Liberty Mutual fail - if you switch away from their car insurance they'll send your last bill to collections just to say they love you.
