  1. I love when my friends influence me to think in different ways, try new things (music, books, food, etc.), and generally improve my life.
  2. About one tenth of the way through The Count of Monte Cristo. Will definitely need to watch the film again. Different, but love Guy Pearce.

  6. Read two reviews of Barbara Kingsolver's new novel, "The Lacuna". One was beautifully written, the other made me want to read the book.
