  1. @bilherron I see. Similarly, I take probiotics in concentrate form.
  2. Thanksgiving week thankfulness: I'm thankful to my family. I have a great support system of wonderful people.
  3. @bilherron Honest question: why were you drinking something you had to choke down? Does this stuff do something awesome?
  4. @YankeeSpirits I hear Newport Storm '09 is starting to appear in stores. Any estimate on when I might see some in Swansea?
  5. @jcallina Cupcakes are not to be taken lightly.
  6. @jcallina These sorts of questions are huge in social science; I give you credit for considering them.
  7. @jcallina would "objectivity" be of any more value, if it is even possible? Your POV is part of the value you add to your observation.
  8. @jcallina I should have my daughters look at that VX. Cool.
  9. @jcallina self-criticism may be warranted, but is a separate concern, imho. First, be honest about observations and own motivations/effect.
  10. @jcallina qualitative researchers ask "who am I in the research?" part of honest research. Criticism calls for honesty, not self-criticism.
  11. @jcallina I love it when I can joke and be serious simultaneously. The essence of parody, in some cases.
  12. I am thankful for thankfulness, and I thank the people who are thankful to others, or even if they are only generally thankful.
  13. @B_O_B_bob @Miss_Demeanor I'm so sorry to hear this. Such a friendly little guy.
  14. @lavoie It looks like some publishing company now produces classroom polling remote devices they call an iClicker! It won't die!
  15. @lavoie Have you ever seen one of those clicking remotes? They were weird. But, yeah -- I agree. They haven't clicked in forever. Give it up
  16. Reading about Freudian dream interpretation for school. Srsly.
  17. When people say "I'm a visually-oriented person," I have to wonder what form of self-assessment they used to determine that.
  18. @biggerhamster That's what my paper is about (kind of). How some people try to reconcile two major schools, and how I only partly understand
  19. @geechee_girl I'll piggyback on your list. You seem to hate all the same dos that I hate.
  20. @biggerhamster In any case, the paper reveals honestly that I have huge gaps in my understanding and knowledge, & where I am trying to grow.
