  1. Sat next to Gurigula on the flight home from Japan. Nice guys! Great sound too - listened to them on MySpace today. http://is.gd/4KCmd
  2. Very saddened to hear of @djgraphite's death. Damn. Here one day, then gone. :-(
  3. Video chat from Tokyo to my 2-year-old son in Ohio. How did we ever get by without this stuff?
  4. Amazing how Uncharted 1 still looks better than the average game of 2009.
  5. @rentzsch Ok, now that's possible. :-) But it has nothing to do with Apple distancing itself from Oracle.
  6. @rentzsch But Steve and Larry are buddies - heck, Jobs was the photographer at Ellison's wedding. http://is.gd/4y9R9
  7. I highly doubt it has anything to do with Oracle or CDDL. No idea why @gruber would think so.
  8. My take on ZFS: there was an engineering disagreement about it, with two camps, and the legal troubles were the tiebreaker.
  9. @ccgus Pretty sure it's the lawsuit. Sun really dug themselves into a hole on that one - they actually started it. :-(
  10. @macguitar Heh. At first I was like: 2000 bucks!?!? Then I saw the yen sign. Much better. ;-)
  11. So, has anybody accidentally live-typed their password into a Google Wave yet?
  12. @nsuttner Or having your wife/SO/roommate walk up and start trying to talk to you during a fight. Nopauserrific!
  13. Because he's basically like a zombie poet.
  14. Going to the movies tonight. Wife wants to see the Keats movie; I'm thinking zombies. May compromise on Gervais.
  15. How do I train iPhoto to recognize the back of my 2-year-old son's head?
  16. 9pm ... time to go get my ass kicked in Demon's Souls a couple dozen more times.
  17. Wonder why? Maybe they use a different provider for international customers, but are locked into Sprint for the US?
  18. But... if you're not a US customer, this means you can buy a Kindle now. And you won't pay a roaming charge anywhere in the world.
  19. New Kindle model offers international wireless... at $1.99 roaming surcharge per book. Wouldn't WiFi have been better?
  20. @rosyna A PS3 JRPG that was released in the US. Good stuff.
