  1. mobile safari in iphone 3.0 gets 97/100 in the acid3 test http://acid3.acidtests.org/ , that's pretty decent. how's ff3.5 doing?
  2. @greenberg keeping up with codecs will definitely be the main challenge for <video> to become genuinely useful; dynamic updates are a must.
  3. searching for a reasonably complete and stable XPath 2.0 implementation in python. any candidates out there? XQuery/XSLT2 would be a plus...
  4. @joebeone http://is.gd/1kOth says "SML extends XML&XSD with a mechanism for incorporating into XML documents references to other documents."
  5. looks like there is some overlap between SML and LDX. which probably means i have to dive into SML at some point in time. fun spec reading!
  6. W3C issues last call for "CSS3 module: Multi-column layout" at http://is.gd/1kxYS
  7. the only spam i get on the lists.berkeley.edu email lists i manage are dentist listings. tons of them. dentists, could you please back off?

  11. RT @sallamar: Fun stuff on the long tail of HTTP headers - http://bit.ly/q46pT --- great stuff for net nerds!
  12. SFO. about time.
  13. MUC. maybe code{/{terminal}{/gate}} would be a useful airport namespace for the location URI scheme?
  14. MAD
  15. BIO. i want the location URI scheme to have an IATA namespace, maybe with an optional extension for terminal information.
  16. tomorrow is travel marathon day: BIO MAD MUC SFO
  17. @sgillies i guess what you're referring to is the OGC style of defining "geospatial services" by pinching SOAP pinholes into RPC silos?
  18. @pkeane don't know whether you saw the links to http://is.gd/1heoo , a proposal for a JSON schema language. no idea how good it is.
  19. after a real-world user test of zubizuri bridge i can confirm that the glass floor is ridiculously slippery when it rains. design fail.
  20. blogging about "LocWeb 2010" at http://is.gd/1h0bj , please submit your comments if you are interested in such an event happening.
